They are starting to close off a bunch of roads on Randolph. My 15 minute drive home took me 45 today. I am suprised I made it through some of those high flow water areas in the stang. My heart was beating soooo fast and I hydroplaned once.

So, why do stupid @ss people like to do the speed limit when it's pouring like this? I just want to tell these damn SUV owners that think they are invinsible to get a clue.

Okay, I feel better now.

Good news, I drove the "boat" to work.
Bad news, the suspension can't tell the roads are flooded when it lowers the car.
I might really float the 30 miles to home.

I am the same way girl. I hate it when people ride your bumpber too and they have 2 other lanes they can get into. It's like go around me I am not going to be speeding like an idiot especially when the rain is coming down in sheets and it is hard to see the lanes as it. I also have the "self-talk" I am going to make it home ago and it relaxes me a little. I really dont mind driving in the rain per say it is the other idiots around me that I worry about!

On the way home some tool made me feel rushed and that's when I hydroplaned getting of the hwy. I just wanted to get out of the car and shoot that focker. I had to call Mick a few times when I was stopped just to get reassurance because I was pretty scared. If I would have opened my door on base, in some areas water probably would have come into my car. At least that's what it looked like. I just hope everyone makes it to their destination safetly today.
