March seems popular for inspections around here. Mine was due last month. Had it done with no problems. Why is everyone so concerned and need a hookup? In my experience, they don't look at jack when they inspect. Guy that did mine checked the horn and wipers, then pulled it out of the bay and put a sticker on. He also commented he doesn't see any 01's with 13000 miles.

Well, my car has long tubes, no cats, race mufflers, no smog pump, horn doesn't work, speedo doesn't work, it is loud as all hell and smells pretty nice with no cats and no EGR stuff =)

It all depends who you take it to. Some places won't look twice at a car because the won't feel like writing out a rejection sheet, just to much wasted time. Some places have nothing better else to do with there time and look at everthing with the minor infraction causeing you to fail. It's good to know people who can do this if your car has a hard time passing. But remember, don't brag about where you had it done, it can cause more trouble than you think.

I go to the same place each time and they don't seem to check anything. One of the guys there has a modded fox, guess this helps.

I lucked out. My brother-in-law worked at an inspection place. Good news, I got a sticker. Bad news- he did about 2500+/- damage to my car on the way to his shop when he wrecked it! :pissed: It's fixed now, for the most part. Visually fixed, still need to repair a few things that the body shop didn't.
