Install Instructions

Anyone know where i can get a walk through or something for installing a x-pipe and MILs on a 07 Gt??? I bought the pipe 2 weeks ago and local shops are estimating $100+ for install, so i wanna try and do it myself.

it's been over a year since i changedd mine, but here's a real quick summary for ya...

loosen your mufflers at the connector sleeves
remove the 2 nuts on each flange coming off the headers
loosen the sleeves that connect the mid pipes
slide the stock H out and replace
put it all back together in reverse...

before you tighten things back up, make sure your mufflers are nice and centered...

mils and xpipe are a 70 dollar install at psi . 1 hour labor unless you have the mills wich require cutting and reconecting the 02 wires in wich case ad another half hour.
and definatly something that can be done by you if you have simple hand tools

Yeah...real easy. It can be done in under an hour on jackstands. Basically, 2 bolts to both headers, 2 bolts to each over-axle connection, and 3 O2 sensors to remove and replace. I remember someone doing a write up on it...I'll try to find it.

woops, thats right...forgot about the O2's...you'll need and extension and possibly an elbow to get at that top one...

unplug harness
wait to remove the O2's until after the H pipe is off, and put them on the X pipe before install
