Interior/My Color Upgrade Problems

Hey guys my gt has the interior/my color upgrade that give you all of the extra information in thee speedometer area. ie. miles to empty, miles per gallon, tire pressure...etc... well it said 30 miles to empty so i filled the car up. after i finished filling it up it said 70 miles to empty and the fuel gauge read full. Now it says 0 miles to empty but there full gauge reads over half full. Anyone know how to reset this. I already tried to disconnect the battery thanks!!!

It is supposed to calculate itself when you fill up, don't know of any manual way to do it. If I were you I'd just run it into the dealer on that one, sounds like a gremlin.

All you should have to do is highlight that screen ( make sure you are looking at the distance-to-empty screen ) and hit reset. Hold it in until the mileage resets.

It should calculate it upon start up but if it doesn't, try that before you take it in.

the distance to empty screen will not let me reset it like the other fields ie mpg, time travelled, gallons used.

Sounds like a dealer issue. Still under factory warranty?

ok guys, i checked w/ a dealer about htis once... so especially now that you reset the battery, it could take a few hundred miles to recalculate...

i love having all that information. It give you mpg, miles til empty, oil pressure, tire pressure, door and trunk information. and some other crap i cant think of. My car has a bumper to bumper warranty til 5 yr 50k miles which i wont even have the car that long. I just didnt have time to leave the car there after the oil change. i set up an appointment at Red Mccombs ford west on Friday for them to look at it.
