Interwebs speed test

is there a way to test your speed on one of those websites? ive seen a bunch of them on google, just dont know how safe it is...

cool, yeah i found it...

now my question is how can i change my upload speed? download is good over is that something I have to do through time warner or is there a setting on my computer im not aware of? im pushing about 515 upload, want more internets....im thinking that is whats slowing me down/cutting me off when i play COD4

upload is always gonna be way lower than downloan unless you have like a t3 connection. you can upgrade to a higher package with your internet provider

GVTC DSL out in the boonies. They just ran fiber out here though... but they have not activated it yet. Should be much faster soon.
