thats all i need for now...

should be able to pull some mid 1.6's....and yes, the front will be up

LCA's and UCA's are all i have left of the suspension...i'll see what the stockers can do tho.

when the stuff goes in, i'm going to have them weld the torque boxes and axles tubes. i also need a rear end cover, but that can wait.....i still need headers :2thumbup:

macgyver, you should know better. i don't talk shit, period, unless i'm kidding. i don't know all of what it takes to get that low because i haven't been there. i have though seen relatively stock GT's with slicks cut a high 1.6X 60' though, and i know that hardened 31's will take probably more hp than nighthawk is making (guessing they could take 450rwhp or so)..

oh, didn't know that.

a friend's ~220rwhp V6 cut 1.8's with DR's and only a 1.7 with slicks, though he is new to using slicks (as am i). he had stock suspension.

Well, you'll be good to go later on at least when you have more power.

the point of upgrading is because i have traction...not power

you seem to have failed to realize that...

at 1.6x....the stuff will break. its not a matter of maybe, or it might be ok....something will give out.

mine has been ok somehow...i've made 350 or so passes....

150 or so with sub 1.79 60 fts....the t-lock still works, and nothing has ever broke. i pulled a 1.72 last week "taking it easy" and decided its too close to risk

yes, i know that the strain on the drivetrain out of the hole is what breaks things.

???

nevermind.

Nighthawk, you'll need to cut a hole in the floor board to see the track when you launch I think 1.6's should be pretty easy with the new set up. Good luck:2thumbup:

so does this mean you changed your mind on selling the welds? i don't think you'll be getting much traction on gatorbacks
