i had gotten the sub ($300) and amp ($275) off craigslist here in austin. i knew the box that came with the sub originally was for sure not going to fit!! so i had gotten this box ordered from custom sounds for about 250.

when it finally got shipped and arrived i went in so they could install it for me. i was there pretty much the whole day. they came out and said the guy that was removing the sub from the original box and put it in the one that i bought to fit the car accidently punctured a whole in the original w7. after they told me that they said they were going to give me a brand new one since it was their fault!!!

then the second thing that went wrong was that when they put the amp on the amp didnt want to power on. SOOO instead of buying a brand new one i sent the amp in to JL audio so they could repair it. well.... when instead of getting the original amp i had sent to get fixed JL gave me a BRAND NEW amp as well!! why idk but they did!!

so all in all i got a brand new w7 and a brand new amp for literally HALF of what all this would have cost brand new!!!

is that amp gonna be enough for a w7? seems like you might need more power to truly use that w7's power.

I have 2 10w3's in the 07, and in the 65 I have 2 6w0's, rare, but work great in tight spaces.

quick question. what is the gauge of that speaker wire? It looks a little thin for that sub.
Those subs are power hungry so you need some FAT wire to prevent overheating your amp and the voice coils in the sub.
