was over @ jordan ford the other day checking out the inventory. They have a couple of nice ass foose stangs, the 07 cobra, and a couple of nice roush's.

anyone else been over there lately?

i was there, i liked the blue.white foos, the black gold GT350 was body kit only, and i did like th egt500 vert - but it costs as much as a new Z06

i've seen the red GT500 from the highway for the past few weeks.

I can't believe they left it parked outside in the rain yesterday.

ahh... that's what i kinda figured.

it looks like a good fake from the highway. correct front fascia, wheels, and stripes. but everytime i see it parked outside i had a hard time believing they would park it outside.

was it jordan or northside that was pumping out all kinds of v6s with specialty badges, then jacking up the prices? one of those places was selling a v6 "BOSS" for something like $30k earlier this year.

oh man i hate that shit. and they tell the customer that its a mach 1 and they go to all these car shows and say they have a 05 Mach 1, and im like no you dont. what you have is an overpriced GT. blah. thats one of my peeves is mis-badged or fake cars.

I had my 07 Gt in there for the clutch pack TSB and saw the real GT-500 inside. It was roped off and had a sighn that read " Look but dont touch "

I looked.....and didnt touch. I bought my GT at Gillespie because there close to my house. But they totally suck! Its worth driving all the way accross town, to Jordan. Its a new world there.
They fixed my car in one day, and gave me a rental for free. Dont worry about having a Cold air intake or tune. My service rep knows all about mine, and played with the SCT Xcal2 i had in my glovebox. He was very impressed with the off idle throttle responce, and had no problem with any of it warranty wise. He just thought it was cool, and liked the fact that it gets much better mileage now too.

Werd they got a white GT500 convt. inside the show room and those clones that u saw are the "shelby 350" looks just like the 500 but have the GT engine in them as for the machs thats also another damn body kit thing w. the same GT engine in it also!! i work @ the collision center so im constantly over there seein whats new! damn clones! lol

The only bad thing about Jordan is the sales staff and the used car appraiser.

When I bought my 06 a few weeks ago....

I went to Jordan asking about mustangs, they didnt even offer to show me any they just said lets do some paperwork. I said I have an 820 credit rating so no pperwork first lets talk cars, then we went to a computer.

Then they appraiser guy came back and gave me the trade in amount for my volvo. They offered 17k first, I said youre kidding right? So me and the sales guy sit down and look up the value of my volvo using their tool, and it comes back as 22,500. Sales guy says hmmm, let me go ask whats up, he comes back and just says sorry the highest we'll go is 18k.

I said see ya, and went to Bluebonnet. There I got the best service I have ever recieved while buying a car. They offered me more right off the bat for my car, took me out in a golf cart and showed me every mustang on the lot without even mentioning purchasing one, etc.

I called the other day after seeing the black and yellow clone (actually pretty nice, even has the seats). I wanted to see about getting the rear badge they had made that said 350 in it instead of 500. I talk to Tim there accessory guy, he's tells me that it's just a sticker they put over the gt emblem. I asked him how much and he said he had a bunch of them and would sell me one for 50 bucks!!

The real gt500 rear emblem (the whole thing not a sticker) goes for under 50 list from ford. My reply was thanks and a hang up.

Whats funny is they want 37k for that clone, the MSRP for a GT500 start at 42k. Would be nice if the dealers weren't so money hungry!

Sorry to rant but this is a sensitive subject. I want a GT500 but am not paying a dealer 20k over sticker

A buddy of mine works at Jordon as a tech, they're good people. He's a lucky bastard as he got to drive the 07 Cobra. I was suprised to find out one already went in for service. Turns out it had a bad starter.

I was over there the other day and the sales rep I was talking to said that some of the new 07 GT500's were going for way over MSRP. He said the highest one went for 40k over MSRP. I guess it is a case of everyone wanting to be the first to own one. Crazy if you ask me.
Guess I will just have to STAY happy with my lil ole 97 Cobra putting out 430+rwhp.
