Ok, who's next. Anyone have any questions that they'd like to ask me, or would you rather speculate, and assume? We've been REALLY BUSY, yes, we did pay the board later than we should have( Same guy writing the checks, as doing the books and tuning), and yes, we are still advertisers. I know it takes me awhile to write checks, and is why I pay for 6 months to a year, up front. As far as the banners, I don't know. Our business does not come from the banners, but rather, the happy folks who have had us do work for them.
As far as us knowing anything about mustangs, well, we have done a few. -Currently, we are in the process of building two mod motors. -We have 4 forced induction modulars in the shop this minute. -A guy that cannot get JMS chip to tune his radical 4.6 2v correctly, is coming in from OKC on wednesday. -We have a real HEMI, with EFI, to be tuned in the shop now-his search for a tuner started with the factory ACCEL EFI techs. -I guess the ACR Viper with the cogged blower drive counts. -One 2004 GTO, one L98 stroker, one LS1 transplant (done horribly by a San Antonio shop-a big name one-horrible frigged-up job they did). -One lightning, worth about 425, on the dynojet (our package)-we are making custom suspension upgrades on it, this trip. -This saturday, we have two C5 Corvettes coming in from Killeen for custom tuning-both of those guys do not know each other-they individually scheduled their cars with us, not any other shop-they did shop around, though, and thought us the best tuner for the job. That's today's and this week's work only, and our appointment book goes through the middle of May, on just tuning. Over 60% of our work comes from previously done work, that has not satisfied our clients, until they found us. Some folks have battled their problems for years, and we solve them-that is what a good tuning shop is about, and we must be doing a couple of things right. Some may not like me, or how blunt I can sometimes be, but you either like me, or hate me-even some of the ones that hate me, still respect my work and knowledge, and send me tuning jobs, and that's about the best compliment I think there is. Should you come to us for work? Let your gut decide-we'll be here, for a LONG time, just like we've been tuning-for a LONG time. |

Oh, I forgot-I do not attempt to predict, and shy away from it. BUT, I have feedback from more than a few folks who actually race their cars, and though it may be raining on your parade, the truth is the truth.
Nighthawk-right on the money. Point A to point B, and longevity, yes. Would we make more power, if we pushed the limits? Shoot no. Tried it (over 14 years), and it does not happen. You cannot tune for numbers, but rather, you tune the motor for what it is asking for, and it works. The dyno is a tool, and slower people are happier than broken people. This is a great thread, actually, and most all of you brought up good points. Thanks guys! much love, wildjim |

I'd much rather deal with somebody who's really blunt than someone who beats around the damn bush all day. Glad to see you posted up in here man.
