Well I never heard back from the track. I haven't given up, just my life actually kinda busy for once. I will get back on it here shortly

I think be cool have a ford night........heck i'd show up and run for that.....put the drag tires on and go for it hahha....i'd like to really know what shop has the fastest street machine out there...that be fun race to watch.....but the class idea would be good, plus decent prize money...everyone who runs throw money into the pot, then go from there.

HP 335/ TQ 361 to the ground dyno tuned by PSI.


all below 5500rpm, went flat...needs bigger cam.

how do you define street machine .. tags registration insurance ? then my 7.50 car is legal

pump gas ? again my car can pull 8 flats on 93 octane

thats where we all failed before no one can agree to what makes a street car

we never got the event to run .. the issue was everyone argues over what makes a street car..

and almost everyone would look at anything faster then them and try to use any reason to say it wasnt a street car..

to me if its taged inspected and can drive around on 93 octane its a street car..

but to many others would say the big cages etc to be legal make it no street car others would say becuase its got a chute or wheelie bars < even though they could be removed > its not a street car etc..

itys just to dam hard to get people to agree on what makes a car a legit street car.

Heads up on an index,only way to get car count up.
Dont make a crap what it is.Et is the
only thing that matters.Big tire,small tire,factory susp,
ladder bar or 4 link,it dont matter.Power adders,as many
or few as you want.

street car....to me is a car u can drive on the street, passes a inspection test, u drive it to the strip, has insurance on it, lights wiper street stuff must all work..u have to run PUMP GAS..93!!! octane....nothing more...u drive it on the street get the gas from any station out there...no race fuels..a street car is some one i might drive up on the street.......thats a street car to me.....no ride that u trailor to the track....thats not a street ride thats a trailor queen....so yea thats my idea of street ride....know what u have done to make it run fast is alllllllll fair game....NOS, blowers, turbos, what ever u want to get your car moving....any safety stuff, cages, wheel bars.....just u have to drive it to the track and drive it home....so if it has wheelie bars then there on it 24-7 u know.

i agree for the most part with you... i have a friend however, that CHOSES to trailer his car to the track because if it breaks, he doesn't want to get stuck.... that, and his gas mileage isn't great, however, his car is 100% street legal, he drives it to work every day (much closer than the track) so to me, it's still a street car.

Yea that sounds about how i hope to be, I run a/c and all daily accesories, and drive it to work sometimes, but i still want a trailer, I get tired of swapping tires, And If an axle, or t-5 goes south I can get her home.

btw, emmissions testing will start here soon, the trailer will pay for itself.
