You may not gain much from the larger throttle body, but you will feel a quicker throttle response.

I remember always reading 3.73 for manuals, and 4.10 for autos. If you don't go out on long road trips you probably won't notice a few less mpg.

Hey guys... kinda off topic, but I remembered it was discussed here. I was just watching musclecar on spike and the sequential tail lights came on the 68 Mustang Cobra KR. I don't know if that was before or after the T-birds, but I knew they were on an old mustang. Just some info.

• Sequential Tail lights
i would move this down the list
• Smoked tail lights and clear/smoked side markers (using Nite Shades)
Do one or the other, smoked or sequential
• Shift light (have it, need to install it)
do it
• MGW Short Shifter
Do this first!
• Long tube headers (BBK?)
• Custom H-Pipe like white stang
Do this second and get a tuner like xcal 2
• Mufflers Keep magnaflow or change to flowmasters?)
in the end, magnaflow will make more power and will sound better
• Accufab throttle body and plenum (70mm or 75mm)

• JLT cold air (sell current)
• Floor mats
• 3.73s or 4.10s
4.10s and do this after exhaust is complete
• Americanmuscle.com HID kit (heads and fogs)
Call maximum velocity. You wont find a better deal and a good product.
• SCT Xcalibrator 2/3? Diablo?
like I said, do it with the LTs
• Springs?
• Shocks?
• Strut brace?
• Sway bar?
What will be your goal? It might change along the way... I would rather be faster first because the stock stuff is good for ETs
There is also more than just those parts that you need for a swap that add lots of cost. for a nice lowering, Bilsteins HDs and H&R springs will be a good ride and handle well.
hope that helps

Very much so. Thanks a bunch man. Yeah, I've got the cash for the the gear install I just have to set it up. I'll definitely get the short shifter after that. I also got an Xcal 2 from my friend so I'm doin pretty well now. I think somewhere in there I'll get the tail light tint overlays and the sequential kit.

Not quite sure why you would say no on the MGW. I had it on my last stang and loved it, and installed on on mine now just this evening and I couldn't be happier.

the hurst was my favorite for powershifting, 5.0 was my least favorite... the only shifter that would ever block me out of 2nd at the track on multiple cars.
