Just showin yall my system

Got this custom fabbed and fiberglassed in like april, really like it cause its a TOTAL space savor. i have 2 kenwood 10s, not top of the line but i love the sound. also have kenwood components with a kenwood deck. also have a RF amp. and befor i get flamed, i put the red light in because the dim yellow light sucked so i thought the red light would ook better. and it does and its not rice! lol

enjoy...

So don't put one in yours. If you want a real nice sound to your music you will ditch the oem stuff. Hence a "system". I'd like to know what makes a mustang different from any other car when it comes to audio? Now the subs in a vert with the top down....sux no matter which make of vehicle.

sorry man, i dont meen to brag er whatever, but it is the cleanest trunk system i have seen for a mustang. if you want something like that i can try and find you the boxes, you just need to fiberglass and cover.

EDIT: the boxes are not cheap though, about 80bucks a piece. but well worth it IMO

Dude its not hard. You have to tape off the area you want boxed and then lay fiberglass. You should use wood on big flat pieces. You then make some subrings and hot glue them in place with dowels. Then you staple fabric ( fleece) around the box. Then you apply resin and more fiberglass.

Once you get the shape where you want it you use body filler to smooth it out and then paint or carpet it.

I can find you an online tutorial if need be. You guys could do it in a snap.

P.S. That is the condensed version.

Looks nice! JM usually does our installs himself. We get all the parts and our boxes made from a friend of JM's and/or from Crutchfield. JM does great system installs when he wants to do it! His old set up in his t/a was custom and looked SICK....very clean. The last couple he did were my mustang (which he only did a half ass job because he was trying to get it done quick) and his Tahoe, which is still a pretty nice setup.
