depends on brand of tire.... I've seen 275-40s on 10.5" and it didn't look stretched (can't remember the brand though)

They will give you a trade in especially if they are new! I would get a diff. tire then a kumho though unless you like sliding!

they will work with you! You can haggle prices!!! The sales people have the option to give you an adjusted price i.e. trade-in, manuf. defect, or a road hazard(blowout)...Tell them what you want and what you have and you want to trade em in! Push them, most discount sales fall back when they start getting pushed! Although we do not get comission we do get extras for more units sold soooo they will work with you! Discounts motto is noone walks!!

a khumo MX is stickier than a KDW and a hair behind a KD. such broad brand statements are misinforming

have you test drove tires side by side? I have! Discount sends ppl on trips to test tires in handling and grip on dry and wet. But your right my info. is misleading! But I will agree the mx is there best tire but there are much better tires out there for the money!

the mx is not their best tire, and no there is not a better tire for the money when it comes to wet traction noise, handling. There is no other tire in its class that is even close in price that is worth a darn any more and still actually manufactured.** MX is a summer performance tire which happens to be great in the rain. a kdw or kdw 2 is more expensive and an all season tire with lower dry performance and more road noise (kdw2)
