King Cobra Clutch: Opinions needed/welcomed

Well I need a new clutch. My car has a t45 and one of the local guys is selling a King Cobra(valeo) clutch kit for a sweet price, which im meeting up to pick up later on today, hopefully. I have searched/read many people opinions on the pedal feel with the king cobra. Many love it, some dont, some say pedal feel is really hard, some say its softer than stock! WHAT gives?! Now I will be ordering this kit

Clutch Cable, Quadrant, and Firewall Adjuster Package : Maximum Motorsports Performance Mustang Suspension Store, Buy Now!

and hoping the pedal will be comparable to stock.
My car is my daily driver and will not see anything besides minor bolt ons, if at all(tight student budget here). What is the diff between this Valeo King Cobra and the FRPP King Cobra? Thanks for your input.
And is the MM cable kit too much? can i get it for a better price somewhere else? And im going with the OEM ford clutch cable no matter what.

ive had a KC in 2 of my stangs and liked them very much. not too much harder than a stock clutch, and then you can adjust it with a tensioner. good set up, imo.

helluva deal bro. King cobra's have a good rep, but it all depends on your application. I wouldnt go with a king cobra if you are doing anything but DD

anything is better than OEM, i was just pointing out the fact that a King Cobra is the 'budget' aftermarket solution.

Your clutch has a cable.

If you have a King Cobra and a stiff pedal something is wrong. The original Motor Sport was stiff, but the King Cobra is near stock pedal effort with close to the same clamping force as an old Motor Sport clutch. I only recomend them for street cars up to about 300 hp. Strip cars or higher horse street cars will tear up the disk rather quick. I have smoked multiple King Cobra clutches with only a two or three passes with 400 hp cars. I had a disk come apart in abunch of pieces on the very first pass in a 330 hp car on slicks, we had just put the clutch in two days before.

Over all the KC is a good choice for a daily driver with under 400 fwhp . I usually use the LUK version of it due to the price and the fact its a complete kit .
