its just a machine it just follows directions so crap in crap out .. good port in good port out.
Thats why you need to pick a reputable cnc porter not just a mass production place ala patriot etc

Kotzur does great work .. but yes takes a long long time on some things.

Hes the only person who touches my race cars motor in this town however.
Same with murillos car.
murillos got 1800 rwhp with his big block
I got 1650 rwhp with my small block
so i would say hes doing something right.

They do good work most of the time but I have heard horror stories as well . The biggest complaint I hear most of the time is how slow they are .

I had Mission do the machine work on my last 408 in my coupe and they were lightning fast on it . My only bitch was they did something and charged me for it without asking permission first .

But this holds water, a busy machine shop is a good machine shop. They may be slow, but they do good work.

I called Kotzur for machining and assembly for the shortblock in my Mach. He quoted a 5 business day turnaround time. Sounds like that is a little optimistic from all the replies in this thread

Time isn't much of an issue at all. This is a project which will be months if not some years in planning/building. Want to do it right and do it slow. As far as their services were concerned, I was mainly talking about machining for a block.

As far as heads, I think I've already decided to have Carlos "Nazman" do the work.
