soo i want to upgrade my turn lights and my brake light to leds...so for those who have them, point me the right way on where to get them and what to look for...any help would be great...

leds for the turn signals...hids i know are for fog and headlights...im looking for leds for my front and rear turn signals

yea its just replacing your stock blubs to better ones...sort of how you replace your stock headlight blubs/

LED's will actually be a little dimmer than stard bulbs. Once you install them your turn signals will flash twice as fast since there is less resistance on the circuit. You will either need to install ballast resistors or load equalizers. which create heat or find an upgraded flasher unit rated for LED bulbs. My flasher is from Trico and has LED at the end of the part numberwhich indicates it is designed for led bulbs and will flash at the correct rate.

yea i was told about the flash...i read that leds are dimmer thats the one thing i don't understand, just trying to get the truck some appeal

LEds are dimmer because their field of view is different, The light shoots straight out the end rather than shining in all directions and bouncing off the reflector.
Some of the better bulbs have leds that face forward, have some facing to the rear and some around the perimiter of the bulb. Led bulbs can be brighter than an incandescant, but it will be more expensive. Some of the 3 watt bulbs start at 24.95 and up per bulb.
