LADIES NIGHT AT SAR 2/14/07
I'm goin along with RowdyJohnny, im finally gonna see what the steeda can do. I was called out by an srt-4 and a z-28 from school so i gotta go do some ass kickin'. Its ladies night so ladies get in free and race free. $10 to watch $15 to race for the gents.
Gates open at 6pm and lanes close at 11pm

Well i went out there had a good time me and stangalang, fastest time i had was 14.08 guess that is not to bad for stock. Stangalang was having some traction problems, but i will let him talk about that.

here's prolly my best time... twas the 2nd run of the night and i was having horrible traction in 1st mostly 2nd. also had to granny shift due to my POS hurst shifter...i need a smooth glide into gears and this hurst doesnt cut it...any ideas?? also i have stock gears

i have a hurst on my dd and hate it as well. i have a pro 50 on my weekend cruiser and love it.you should be able to do better with some 3.55 gears.thats what i run in the dd and they just love a 150 shot(keeps me in front of the vettes) that mph you should be low 13 threes. did you wiegh your car? helps to give you refrence on the et calculators and stuff.also you might want to pop that clutch when you see the 3rd light come on the tree.just tryin to be helpful. for a shifter imo the pro 5.0 or b&m ripper are the best for the buck. sml

what about the MGW?? heard it was pretty smooth...
I popped the clutch a few times but all i ever got was a 7k rpm spin in 1st and 2nd. but i was also runnin street tires... btw how/where do i weigh my car??

on the return road after you get your timeslip on the right hand sidethere is a little booth pull in the rectangular box and in the window there is a led display that reads out your vehicle wieght. most of the time you will miss it cuz your starring at the timeslip after you get it. i have never ran mgw but it seems like its badass due to the adjustability of it.
