Last night's Storm
Well last nights storm wiped all the power from my whole sub division and to top it all off the storm burned out my A/C unit
How did everybodys house/car handle any damage

My car is fine but damn that shit was crazy! Saw a few light poles on the ground this morning.

Because I parked in a "reserved" covered parking spot that belonged to no one because I didn't feel like walking literally 100 yards from an open parking spot to my apartment at 11pm last night.
Didn't even know it was gone until I stuck my head out my door at 1pm this afternoon. I was an hour late to work because I had to have a co-worker take me to get it. It was in an impound right off 35N & Randolph. Cost me $178.79 to get it back.

Yeah, I was pretty furious.
I called the office and the girl who answered said " Well it was either towed or possibly stolen. " I wanted to reach through the phone and punch her in the throat and cunt punt her down a flight of stairs. This was the last straw. I'm not re-signing my lease. Fuck these people.

damn atleast they could have given you a warning they have a record of cars that belong at the apts. You should make a call to there main office see what happen was right did they go through proper channels before towing. Shit some people do this to make money on the side someone in the office may have made some extra cash having it towed. Oh as for the storm it was quick but the stang was safe in the garage.

HAHA... didn't even know there was a storm until about 6:30 this morning when I woke up and the power was out. I thank my uncle for the Energizer hardcase work light he gave me for christmas, cuz it lit my way and let me take a shower with at least a lil' light.
 The car was just wet...

Our storm was wicked-cool! Knocked the power out for an hour, so at 3:30 when it the power went down it woke me up, and again at 4:30 when it came on I had to re-set my alarm and let Tinker know the power was back up so she could re-set hers ...
Wonderful light show, though! I had Don open the mini-blinds so I could try to watch the lightning! I love storms ....  Went out back this morning to find all the pool tools all blown around on the patio, but no damage to anything ... Quote:

I know T... it's just too far from work.
 As for the storm, I didn't hear it at all. I guess I slept like a rock. I just think it's funny, when it doesn't rain for a week, everyone goes nuts and the news channels always say .. " In local weather, San Antonio is in another drought. We really need the rain.." THEN, when it does rain, it will rain a half-dozen times a week, and they complain about that....and then it has the good chance of flooding...and when it does..what do you know? We're out of that awful drought. ..but yeah. I'm tired of hearing weathermen on the news saying SA is in a drought because it hasn't rained in 3 days.
