Lethal Performance looking to hire a mechanic

Lethal Performance is looking for another mechanic. We are in demand and have alot of room to grow. We are more of a performanced base shop so being able to work on Ford,Chevy,Dodge and Pontiac is a huge plus. Here is a brief summary of what we are looking for. Details on pay scale and interviews can be setup via PM's or calling the shop. Ask for Danny.

TITLE: Service Technician

GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Technician is responsible for productive diagnosis, repair, and replacement of both specialized, general, aftermarket automotive parts and accessories. A Technician is expected to comply with company safety, loss prevention, and customer service programs as well as established policies and procedures and municipal, state, and federal regulations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Operational Duties
•Ensures a valid Service Order
•Ensures a Preventive Maintenance Check List is completed on every vehicle serviced
•Ensures a valid Service Order is visibly displayed with the vehicle while it is being serviced
•Obtains needed parts through service management
•Returns all unused parts to service management personnel after the completion of service
•Returns rebuilt parts cores, batteries and used tires to designated security areas for appropriate handling
•Maintains average productive "labor hours" equivalent to 90% of hours worked during any consecutive four week period
•Minimizes "comeback” rate to two or less during any four week period

2. Safety & Housekeeping Responsibilities
•Road tests vehicles after completion of service to ensure safe and satisfactory operating conditions
•Secures and locks customer vehicles when returning vehicles to parking lot areas upon completion of service
•Maintains a clean work area clear of debris, cores, unused parts and stray tools and equipment
•Maintains and cleans shop equipment immediately after use by removing debris, grease, chemicals, etc
•Participates in daily and weekly shop maintenance programs as designated by service management
•Complies with established safety and loss prevention programs to include protective eyewear and back belt use

3. Additional Responsibilities
Performs other functions as required.
•Maintains technical capabilities to ensure proficient use of service equipment and maintain ASE certification status (Not required but perfered)
•Reviews and approves weekly time and attendance records at the close of each week
•Participates in periodic employee meetings
•Coordinates and communicates with Service Manager as needed to ensure productive operational teamwork between
sales and service departments
•Complies with company, municipal, state, and federal regulations regulating disposal of hazardous waste materials

PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENT:
•Maintain 90% minimum productivity
Minimal come-backs/ high customer service standards
•Work as scheduled by management

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:
•Receives supervisory directions from Service Manager and Assistant Service Manager
•Receives assignments and work directions from Service Manager and Assistant Service Manager

Job Requirements:
•Must have your own tool box and tools.
•Read, analyze, and interpret technical instructions, journal and procedures, or governmental regulations
•Effectively explain technical information to customers, present and respond to questions from coworkers, trainers and
supervisors
•Diagnose and recommend solutions to basic and complex automotive problems and deal with a variety of concrete
variables in situations where limited diagnostic standardization exists
•Interpret, understand, and apply instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
• Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) (Not required but perfered)
• Equipment Safety

As or right now we have a VERY Qualified person interviewing. I will update this when I know more.

I perfer full time but I would settle for a part timer person if they are willing to work late to make sure the project's get in time. Our new goal this year is to restructure the comapny to run as efficent as possible and customers have min down time on there rides. Also exploring the options of having a bigger building and new dyno. Basicly a new shop.

See the only thing is no matter what you do you get your weekly income. Here it's the % of the jobs complete. So you can make 1k+ a week easily busting ass or alot less being a lazy ass. So can you bust fast enuff is the question
