little help please settle an arguement

well the other day a friend and i were talking and he said that i could fit the frpp whipple for the lightning on my gt.i said that it couldnt be done the intake ports were farther away cause of the slightly larger block thus it would not fit. he said they are the same thing 4.6 to 5.4 help porfavor

The only way it'll fit is if you have a 5.4 2v in your GT. Your friend obviously doesn't know the differences between a 4.6 and a 5.4.

why would you do such a thing anyways.

sure you could get a fabbed lower intake manifold and cut a hole in your hood.... relocate a bunch of parts... but why?
