I was actually looking forward to cruising down there as a big group, but it just doesn't make sense to me and michelle to get down there before check in because we will be carting a lot of excess baggage around if we can't drop our luggage off at the hotel room before we hit the town/beach.

but yeah, i was wanting to cruise together since we won't be in my stang, rather in the trailblazer... so i figured i could take some real good action shots of the cruise down there. but if everyone else is wanting to go early, go for it. we'll just meet you suckas down there!

homie its a 2 & a half hour drive (roughly) so if we leave at 10 (assuming we really leave AT 10) that puts us there at 12:30. So what are we gonna be doing for 2 and a half hours prior to checking in??

this is actually very well coordinated. Its just the times people want to get down there on Friday. I dont blame Michelle and Jeff for not wanting to have Cameron out on the beach for 3 hours. So i understand them wanting to go a little closer to check in time. The others want to get down there and just hang by the beach or what ever they may want to do.

Just my 2cents

And since this is an event for more than SA people, coordinating more than the events while we are there is a bonus. But what would I know about any of this anyways??

If y'all cruise Sat night, swing by A&W's from 7-8pm. There is always a hangout carshow with a lot of the locals. From the main freeway (SPID) drive down Staples towards Saratoga. It is next to the Walgreens!

Once there you can learn alot of the hotspots for Sat night!

A few Stangs from Corpus know about the LSS stampede and we plan to catch up with yall!

What exactly is the plan for Friday and Saturday morning/afternoon?

I'm assuming Friday is just going to be beach and then some dinner in the evening?

Beach on Saturday and Funtrackers in the evening?

Also, what is legal on the beach? Is alcohol permitted where we're going to be?

that actually seems to be the plan with meals added in between

and its my understanding that you can drink on the beach as long as its cans or plastic bottles. and of course clean up after yourself (as would be expected)
