Will Mac longtubes off an 01 cobra fit the mach?

im pretty sure they would they have the same motor and transmission. i dont see why not?

and mac longtubes gave lots of problems to 4v owners

you need a longtube made for the mach or 03/04 cobras

i know SLP makes them and maybe 1 or 2 others

edit: the mach motor is not an 01 cobra motor....lots of differences

Yup Pretty sure the exh ports are shaped differently on 01 vs our motor. :drevil:

the block might be the same, but that's about where the similarities stop. the heads are your issue here. Ford upgraded to a new style 4v head that supposedly didn't have the coolant flow issue of the 01's. They also changed the size and shape of the exhaust ports slightly to gain more low end torque. Didn't y'all read your sept. issue of 5.0?:redrum:
