longtubes getting put on

So hopefully i will get my longtubes, o/r h pipe, and super 40's installed either friday or this weekend. I'm pretty excited but i was wondering if you will really notice the gains from the longtubes? Anything is better then the mac's and 2" tips i have right now

nope. i specifically remember because when i first cranked up my car the egr came loose so we had to put it back up on the lift so he could tighten it.

Well they cut the bung for it and took mine out, now it's throwing 2 codes because of it. not to mention the horrible gas mileage i'm getting 30 miles to 1/4 of a tank. They never called and aksed me about it either before they did it.

30 miles to 1/4 of a tank? are you sure your not just flooring your car everywhere you go so you can hear what the longtubes did? haha.. maybe that was just me :P i went through a tank of gas in a couple of days haha but now im back to driving normal with normal gas milage... but idk what to tell you about that egr.. they kept mine on there because i remember he had to tighten it at the very end..

I'm sure of it. The guy who scanned my car at autozone said i would lose 4-5 mpg because of it.

i have deleted egr with no correction on a few cars with no effect on gas mileage.

Long tubes will have an effect on gas mileage however and you should have your car tuned.

Unless you have an s-197, you don't need a tune with Long Tubes as long as you don't delete the EGR.

you dont HAVE to spend the 400$ for the tuner. your car will still run fine withtout it but it just runs alot better with the tuner! my idle was probably the worst part of longtubes without a tuner (since they took my cats out my idle was very rough)

Lethal took out my egr without telling me they were, that's why i need a tune. Been tring to get in touch with danny for 2 weeks now but he seems to never be there daily.

I don't see how that had an effect on your idle...

There seems to be a mistake here. I know for a FACT you handed us a EGR block off plate! Do you know what EGR plates are? Maybe you fully didnt understand what you were doing when you handed them the caps. In order to shutdown the mil lights you need to have a tuner. Come by the shop and we can explain to you what is going on. You make this seem like we did these things without your consent. This is not the case so please done mislead persons on here. We did everything you wanted with the parts you gave us.

And this is known. To me this sounds like he modded the car without actually knowing the effects it would have. Alot of persons that mod there cars expect a decrease in gas mileage.

This is a misunderstanding when you dropped your car off with all your parts you gave us the caps for the headers. You supplied the caps but I guess they welded them so the caps wouldnt come off.I told you to come by and we can fix it .I have been gone for the last 2 weeks so sorry about that.Just call my cell phone and I will set an appointment its 535-4299 .
