Not a fan of the zr1 wheels, side skirts, lip. Rather have a regular c6 zo6 with a ls9 in it. or a c5 with ls9
Amazing car, but really $125k is way too much. Supercharge a z06 and you have essentially the same car.

A ZR1 is quite a bit more than just a vette.. The ZR1 will hand a lot of cars double n even tripple its cost their asses around a road course.

The ZR1's have 14" rotors with 6 piston calipers, make 630+ hp FACTORY tuned, carbon fiber body, I mean its a SERIOUS FACTORY play toy that still gets 20+ mpg.......Sorry I think they are pretty amazing.....would I pay that much? Prolly not even if I had the $$...But its more realistic than a European car by any means......

As of 2010 all the z06's have an aluminum frame too and corvettes are already fiberglass so carbon fiber is marginally lighter on that end. I guess I'm still looking at it from a poor man perspective of bang for buck.:

They have several supercharger kits for LS7's specifically designed to put them at the level of a ZR1. Plus these engines respond very well to bolt on mods and cams. But with either Z, it basically is a win-win situation.

If I had the money just to blow off and I was 16 I would consider buying one, but I would rather build my dream car. A '69 Mach 1 with a 428. Or buy a Grandsport and put a couple hair dryers on it.
