I still wish I would have thought about it more before I paid to have a built rear end put in and spend a full weekend putting on Longtubes, just to decide to reverse everything a few weeks later. It really was a pain in the ass...and kind of stupid in my mind. But when i want something, I'll get it. So everything had to come out. But yes, next time I consider doing something big...esp something I have to pay a good deal to have done...I will think about what happened this time. Hopefully with the next car I wont have this situation...but in my case its almost inevitible. John has a good point. It's not valid for everyone...but for me it will apply to any car I own.
