Looking for a place that does 3" mandrel bends...?
Anyone know a place here locally that can do 3" mandrel bends on pipe?

if i'm not mistaken, there's no one with a mandrel bender in san antonio... dean at psi was talkingabout getting one a while back when i was at the shop... but i never heard about anyone getting one.. i could be wrong though

Yeah, I called around a lil' over a year ago when I re-did the exhaust on my truck and no one in town has one because it's not worth it for them to own. At least that's what I was told.

its simply not worth it a decent mandrel bender that can do 3 inch runs aroun 12 k and you use it hardly at all.
no cheapo exhaust shop will buy one and it takes a lot of shop space for a mandrel bender due to the swinging mandrel post so most small shops dont have room to spare.

Yep. they're expensive machines. The last time I saw someone looking for a place to do mandrel bends i think there was only one machine in the state that they could find. It was either in Dallas or Houston.
