Looking for Someone Who has Experience Tuning with SCT Chips and a Dyno

I have an SCT chip on my Coupe and the new motor is going in after the Labor Day week. The whole combo has changed so I am hoping I can limp it to Houston to get a reburn. I need recommendations for tuners as I moved here less than a year ago.

Thanks,

Darren

Hey man, try G-Force. Their number is 281-993-5451. I have an SCT chip and tune which they did a great job on. I highly recommend them. Tell them Sai sent you.

Do they dyno tune and if so what type of dyno do they have? I am not a big fan of DynoJets as they cannot put the car under load.

yes dyno tune. They have a dynjo jet though. Try bumbera's, I can not speak on their behalf though. They are expensive thats all I know.

Got on Westside Mustangs and posted on a thread there. A couple of guys suggested Triangle Speed in Orange, TX. They are only 30 min from me and have a Mustang Dyno and they tune with the SCT software. Going to call them tomorrow and see what they charge. Thanks for the name of the other shop as I will give them a shout as well. Close proximity is nice but I will drive to Houston if it means a better tune.

Triangle is your best choice I think. My car was almost tuned there. But in Houston, there is this new shop that I have heard nothing but good things about, they are called PSI. I don't have their number though.

I have heard about them but they have a Dynojet.

Welcome to PSI Motorsports

I am just not too keen on the Dynojets and their inability to load the car. You end up depending on the tuner's ability to predict loading and tune the car from that prediction. Granted some are really good at it but I would rather have that same tuner on a Mustang Dyno with the car under load. Takes some of the guess work (however educated a guess it may be) out of the equation.

It'll be hard to beat PSI as a tuner though. They're an excellent shop, and Patrick can work wonders with an SCT tune.

My tuner is Custom Performance Tuning. Andre tuned my Lightning and he tuned my 05 before and after supercharging.

He will treat you right.

I sent Andre an inquiry. When he gets back with me I will ask for a list of Fox Mustangs he has tuned and hopefully some of them have a combo close to mine.

I talked with the guys at Triangle and he seems to know his stuff and was pretty reasonible on the price.

Thanks for the info and the replies!!!
