i have the eibach pro's on mine and i get comments all the time about how smooth it is for being lowered. and the only speed bumps i bottom out on are the massive speed humps they put in some neighborhoods. other than that, no complaints from me.

It's all in ur head!!! HAHA! Seriouly I do want to ride in or drive your car though, because pro-kit is about the height I will probably go with. I scraped again today, but I think I was going a lil' fast (cuz I was late to work)... My shocks/struts are only about 9 months old, so they're good to go.

probably faster than i should, but there is a McD's in my area that has a monster one that i would scrape with my stock springs on it. even if i crawl over it, my exhaust scrapes. but normal ones i do't have too much trouble on.

I ran the H&R Super Sports with Tokico Illuminas on my Coupe for over 7 years and loved it. The ride was really great with the fronts set on 3 and the rears on 2 and it handled really well.

What are those settings out of? Like 3 out of 4? My KYB AGX's are also adjustable and are set pretty firm right now, so that's also something that I'm going to experiment with. I'm 3 out of 4 on the front and 6 out of 8 on the rears. I think most of the ride is the springs though because it rode like that before the new shocks. Thanks for your input!

The Tokico Illuminas have five positions on the shocks and struts. Big misconception on the springs being most of the ride comfort. You really need to match the dampers with the springs. I would call Maximum Motorsports and see what they recommend for springs with your car, intended use, and the current dampers you have. I did little bit of cruising on the web and I found the Eibach Pro Kit and the H&R Sport springs were used the most with the AGX dampers.

I am just a big fan of the H&R springs so I selected a set of dampers around the springs. All of the springs mentioned so far are great companies so you should be good to go. On a personal note I would stay away from the lettered springs. I have experience with them and thought about all they were good for was dropping the car. Other than that they were average. Again, just my personal take on them.

What do you mean by lettered springs; you talking abou the FRPP? Ok, so since I have AGX's right now, you think the pro kit should be a good match, or even the H&R Sports?? Honestly before you said that, those were within top 3 on my list along with Roush stage 2's.

You're second in line, already have someone else interested. Let me remind all, they probably won't be off the car for another month or two. I will try to let all interested parties know/post up in classifieds.

Hey, shut up it's my thread foo! HAHA... It has been on point and good responses, so keep em' coming. Why you copying me?!?! We don't have same catback... DUH! Oh and it is about me buying new springs!!

Ok... so right now I'm between H&R Sport springs and Eibach Pro-kit springs. So far the Eibachs are winning in the poll. Read up an article of the two head to head on some BMW's, both had strengths and weaknesses but ended up averaging the same score. Only difference right now is Pro-kit is 1.5" drop all around and H&R Sports are 1.6" front, 1.5" rear. I'm looking to have them installed this weekend, so any last comments or info greatly appreciated!

Got Eibach Pro kit ordered from ANR today, and it's going on saturday. I wanted H&R Sports, but they were out of stock. They should be pretty similar though from what everyone has said. Eibach still leads the poll, don't know what the deciding factor is to give them the edge, but right now they're my only option. I will post up after I get them on and let you know my comparison to the sportlines.

I've got Stang Suspension series II (2" front/rear drop) with Mach 1 black Tokicos. It rides better than when I had H&R Sports. Bumps are slightly harsher on freeways, but other than that I love em, levels the car perfectly!

No pictures yet, I'll post one in a couple hours

Well springs installed earlier today. Drove it from ANR to the forum and the ride was definitely smoother. Took it to NTB there, but the tech also recommended letting it settle for a few days before I get the actual alignment which is what I figured. So I just ate with a buddy and drove home. I'm really hoping they "sag" as I've been told, because right now, it's too high for my liking. But then again, I'm just not used to it because I never had the car at stock height.

+1 Dee du deee

Post pics of your car Joe, so everyone can see the new 4X4

Granted my pro kit was used when I got it, it still sagged a little bit after driving it around and putting some weight on the springs for a while.

Correction on the comment to mustang6tee8, I noticed your post before said you would post up pics later, gotcha!

And Zach, I don't want everyone to see pics of the 4x4. I really don't like the look at all, but I'm getting used to it. The rear sits at almost the same height as with the sportlines because I still scrape my gas tank on wheel stops when I back up to em. I thought it would only happen with sportlines, but I guess not. I've actually been trying to hit potholes and bumpy parts of the road to really break those things in and it does it so much smoother. I've only scraped on a speed bump once so far and it was the giant ones NTB has at the forum. They're like 1 ft. tall!! Ride is definitely much better than the sportlines and I'm not taking so much internal organ abuse. Haven't really attempted any corner carving yet, but I'm pretty sure it will handle similarly to the sportlines. It's really only the front sits differently. I'm getting my alignment this weekend hopefully. I'll probably post up new pics once I finally wash the car!
