Where is the Bracken Ridge park? Isn't that sort of in the north central area??? Maybe Sunday at 11am or noon we could all show up. Who cares if someone is not in shape yet or not, that's one of the benefits of starting playing a sport now instead of "waiting until my conditioning is better"... It's gonna get better after the first day you play... Hell I'll be one of the ones rolling around on the ground gasping for air after the first couple plays...
If Bracken Ridge isn't really central for everyone then maybe someone else can name a central place. But I think this Sunday would be great. Maybe it won't get too hot and we can all get slowly adjusted to the weather and get our "conditioning" back in order before the real heat hits. |

Yeah, this John fella is a pansy from what I hear...
I'm off on the weekends so that would be better for me if we were going to be playing any football. I can play some basketball anytime though, not quite as hard on me... |

i play football in a number of places in SA. On sundays between 3-7pm i play at olomos basin north of Downtown close to the zoo, trinity, and incarnate word.
On Wednesdays I play at UTSA around 9:30pm Basketball I play on Sunday Nights and Thursday Nights around 11:30pm off of Portanco til about 2am or until everyone leaves. Another good place to play basketball would on the NW side would be the Duck Pond(Heritage), Evers(near Warren HS off of hwy 151), Emerald Valley(Tezel and Culebra Area), and all the city rec centers

Brackenridge Park runs right along side of 281 near 410... It's one of the most centralized areas for everyone. It has some good sized fields in it too, but I'm not sure if there are any rules on sports or reserving them for our uses....
The McAllister park is closer to the NE side of town where 35 heads north from 410. It's got a very large field in it for football, but again I'm not sure if there are any rules on how we can use it. I don't know where any of the basketball courts are at, but if there are some earlier games being played I'm willing to go to them, even though I am the suxors at bball... |
