wow... I had no idea I was going to hurt someone's feeling when I purchased the deer urine for the exchange. that was not my intent. I am sorry you guys could not find humor in it and hpoe nobody lost sleep over the whole matter.

i'm sure we still have the receipt somewhere if you would like to return it.

Maybe if you were actually there you would feel differently. It is actually quite expensive (took up the whole budget) and was packaged....not just gathered.

Anyways.....it was a GAME. The receiver knew where it was purchased and if it bothered them that much they could have returned it and purchased something else with their $10.00. Not everyone loves models, or dvds, or the other prizes either and I don't hear those people bitching. Again, it is a voluntary game, and if you don't want to play you don't have to.

Actually, I did return it. Thanks for telling me where you got it. I had to hit Walmart on the way home anyway.

I wouldn't be so sure of that. We pretty much agree it was funny. And for the record....would do it again.

And as far as Christmas spirit....since when did that involve getting material things?? I thought spending time with friends was what was important? But maybe I just don't get it.

man... i just really didn't think it was that big of a deal, but then again... i didn't really put THAT much thought into it. we've been super-busy with preparing for the baby and were not even sure we would be able to attend the party anyways so we waited till the last minute to buy something (litterally last minute, as in... on the way to the party) and the deer urine thing was my idea and I honestly thought it was get some good laughs. Honestly didn't expect this reaction.

but you know what... next year we'll just get together and eat. no need to play games if everyone can't enjoy them.

and with that being said... Christmas Party is over till next year.
