Made some passes in the 88
Just got back from the track near Lufkin and ran my 88 hatch. It has 3.73's, Cold-air, Alum driveshaft, Mac H and catback, T-5.
60 FT: 2.05 330 FT: 5.92 1/8 Mph: 78.08 1/8 ET: 9.1 1/4 Mph: 99.43 1/4 ET: 14.12 Let me know what you guys think.

Those numbers are pretty good, 99 mph for a stock H.O. is good. Most of the stock 93 cobras that I have seen run, run 99 to 100 mph.

My goal is to get the car to run 10.0 on radials,with out a power adder and still be streetable. 85 sonic blue coupe with 302 bored and stroked to 364,C4 with trans brake, 275/60/15 M/T drag radials, no power adders. 07 Yamaha R1, custom Y pipe, race baffles, BMC race filter and PC III. |

Damn Jesse im still surprised! I def. thought you were runnin a cobra intake. And possibly ported heads. But i guess was wrong. Just imagine if run some Dr's with some runners and pull the sway bar and also ice that stock ass manifold!LOL for about an hour!! i see 13.80s with no problem!!

pullies, 1.7s and a performer intake should get you mid 13s at 103. You obviously drive well and dont have to throw power at the combination to go fast.

His car is speed density and already has pullies... he just forgot to mention it. He also did this pass on street tires. I was on the track when he made that pass... he actually spank the crap out of my car doing it, hmmm...We have the EXACT same set ups but my car is AOD and has e6 heads, both of which I already have the swaps for I just haven't done the work yet. -JM
