    Midnight Madness/True Street Challenge at San Antonio Raceway July 10

    Come on out this Saturday,July 10th

    Midnight Madness explodes again this Saturday! True Street Challenge!

    July 10th will be the return of the Midnight Madness drags at San Antonio Raceway. Midnight Madness drags is now in its 5th year of operation and is considered the largest street legal gathering in Texas. San Antonio Raceway is under new managment and tons of great things are happening. This Midnight Madness drags we will once again be hosting the True Street Challenge race open to any and all door cars that are street legal registered and inspected. Once again we will split the True Street Challenge into 2 classes. 11.50 and slower and 11.49 and quicker. Last month we had alot more cars combined and a very fast car from Midland with Tony Strong finally being able to take out the 3 time champ Dan Veripps! We look forward to seeing a great turn out this Saturday at the Midnight Madness drags. This month we do expect a lot more to show up so be there early.

    This month July 10th we will have all the Warrior classes, grudge races, battle of the sexes and a some exhibition passes and have even heard rumors of a Top Fuel dragster testing. Make sure to mark your calendar and don’t miss the largest street legal gathering in Texas, "Midnight Madness". You just never know what might happen so don’t you miss it.

    San Antonio Raceway is located on IH-10 east exit 597
    Gates open at 8pm and we race from 9pm till 2am in the morning.
    $10 to watch and $15.00 to race. See you there!

    True Street racers if you think you got what it takes here is your chance!

    Performance Advantage and Longoria Racecars along with All Around Hotshot will be hosting a True Street Challenge on July 10th during the Midnight Madness show at San Antonio Raceway. Everyone who would like to race will have to meet up at Performance Advantage / Longoria racecars at 5:30pm. Each car is $25.00 to enter and that includes your tech card at the track. Winner in the Quick class will recive $300 and winner of the Modified class will win $200

    Stop by and say hi if you would like. Everyone welcome to come by the shop and see the cars before they take off.

    Any car or truck can participate.

    Must be registed and inspected.

    Must be on any DOT Tires. Can not change tires at anytime

    Must make the cruise from Performance Advantage to San Antonio Raceway without falling out of line.

    All vehicles will be allowed to cool off after the cruise and allow time to refuel,change bottles or whatever is needed but the hood can not be opened up at anytime.

    Names will be drawn out of a hat in order to make it a luck of the draw elimination.

    Hey Chris, are you going to show up for this one? I did not see you at the regrand opening race.
    The current combo is an '85 coupe with 302 bored and stroked to 364, Ported Twisted Wedge heads and a BXR intake, A9M ECM with a Moates chip, Doug Nash 5 spd, 4.56 gears, Hoosier 275/60/15 drag radials.
    Daily driver '89 GT 302 stock block, crank, rods and pistons, ported GT-40P heads with stock valves, Ported Explorer intake, B302 cam, Z spec T5, 3.73 gears, Moates chip and no traction. Made 325 whp and 325 wtq.

    There is a 275 DR race going on also tonight.
    Freddy has given them a place to run,some of
    the cars will impress you.

    Are these going to be locals or people from out of the area. I have read about the 275 drag radial racing going on in other areas, those cars are fast.

    I know the pink mustang is running it, but most of the cars are supposed to be from Houston.
