Miserable night at Alamo Dragway...

track was not prepped very good and could get no traction. my best run of the nite was a 13.67 @ 106.55 with a 2.20 short time. i beat a modded 01 cobra on that run by about 3 cars. my friend with the 03 cobra went to the track for the first time tonite. he was able to manage a 13.60 @ 111 with a 2.3 60'. that is pretty good for his first time!:jeff: laid the smack down on me!

I wonder why no one has tried to fix that placed up, I haven't been there since my high school days and that was a long time ago, but I've heard it hasn't changed since then.

But I guess the owners say why fix it, they'll still come. That's too bad cause it practicully(sp) in my backyard.

I used to race at alamo before RCR was here and it was a joke then. The tree wouldnt work, the timers broke, and the infamous "dip" in the track.
