Mod Day Coming Up....

LSS is planning on having a Mod Day on March 4, 2006 in San Antonio, so if you have a minor mod you'd like to do, you might want to start planning for it now, sorry guys, we won't be able to handle engine swaps

. Just wanted to give you guys a heads up so you can order things you might need to get. More info will be posted as the day comes closer!

Mod Day, Mod Party,Mod=Modification, it's a chance for everyone to get together and help install parts, and hang out

Basically, people get together and someones house or wherever and help do simple mods for/with people that might not want to tackle them on their own. it's also a great time for people who might not be car savy to ask questions, get info, and generally learn about their car.

Some mod day type of mods might include.

Teaching someone how to change their oil.
Shorty antenna mod
lower wipers mod
fully reclining seats
chin spoiler
grill delete
general car care

things of this sort and depending on how many people are there and how much time we have there might some more complex stuff like

changing springs
pulley installs.

it all depends on what people need to or want to do.

There's also usually a lot of beer involved (after the mods) and some bar b q going on also. but since this will be at John & Amanda's place we'll see what they'll have in store.

flat surface and air tools are all thats needed.

Hmmm I need some brake maintenance... but I don't think it'll wait that long.

If I've got that day off I'll be there to hang out and learn and drink and help if I can.

We could do an engine swap if that was all we had to do for that day. So I guess I cant bring a shortblock over to assemble?

I do have a puller and a stand, so we could probably pull that off
