thats the best way to get somethign started, because then when you meet another stanger down there, you could tell them to come to hooters, etc etc on whatever day...

but at the same time, with having only 4 people it appears, that post in CC, itll be hard to get enough people to actually have a regular meet because some people will have to cancel out every now and then, or whatever.

BUT... if yall are determined, itll work. me and jeff (bandit) started a regular weekly meet up in College Station with only the 2 of us (or maybe someone else was there too) to start off with, and ended up getting 30+ people out regularly. met alot of cool people. but its a commitment to do it. you really have to be there when you say you're going to be, etc etc.

i think it would be awesome if you guys could get that going though. try and recruit some more people down there, etc etc. would be cool.

You have NO idea. Corpus has a decent size, adn fairly active street racing scene. If you make it Mustangs only attendance will be average, but if its just a GTG you could pack the place.

voy.com/17532/
ccstreetscene.com

Check em out, and post up if you wanna make something happen...

right, but this is LSS, not Corpus Christi Cars.

if im understanding correctly, we're setting up an LSS meet. i dont much like to hang out with other crowds too often because then you always got these cocky asses who are just gonna talk crap the whole time.

i know there is quite a scene in corpus, ive been down there. im just saying if you're gonna try and get something for MUSTANGS, as LSS, it will be hard at first. but worth the try though.

No one said they wanted to race...they are trying to hang out somewhere.....LSS does not need that kind of rep anyways.

True, not to many mustang owners down there are going to be crazy about joing texasv6stangs.com, but there are more than enough to fuel a meet. Yeah, most of them dont see the site right now, so without some sort of publicity an LSS corpus meet would be pretty lame.

Racing and hanging out go hand in hand...especially in Corpus. If there ever was a meet I could almost guarantee you there would be some sort of street racing afterwards.

I do not live in CC, so I am not going to argue with you about what you like to do for fun there after hanging out with fellow stanger, but LSS does not condone street racing, and never will.

All Jonh wants to do is get a regular meet going, so how about we stick to input that would benefit that cause.

it WAS the same way in college station, until we got a regular meet going over there and said we dont street race. we started off with 2 or 3 guys every friday night and built up to 30+ every friday night. and no street races.

i mean, im not trying to be a dick, but you people keep trying to change LSS... its not gonna happen. LSS is built on this foundation of what we believe, and what we stand for. if yall dont like it, go to a different board, you know?

we do not condone street racing. like michelle said, all i was trying to do was set up a meet for us to go out there and meet some fellow stangers. hell, sometimes some of our meets in SA are only 2-6 people or so, hangin out at hooters. maybe thats lame for you, but i actually talk to people to make friends, not just to go out there and brag about my car.
