I've used the Meguiar's leather cleaner and conditioner wipes and saw that it didn't have long-term life to it; I used it in a pinch but used the Lexol for the long-run.

as far as the suede goes, I've heard a diluted 10:1 mixture of water and woolite for colors kicks serious butt cleaning suede (ie '03 cobra seats).

^^^

werd. sidenote: the suede (like on the '01 Cobra seats) are faux suede; I think I have the directions on how to clean it in my Cobra. Cobra's still in that money pit, sometimes call a "shop", so I don't have access to that info right now.

Here's the engineer in me...I'd like to do a comparison test on the grill in my Civic. TrueBlue, could I borrow some of that 2001 stuff? and 2k4mk1, ditto on the Aerospace Protectant? I'll do a section in BTB, a section in 2001, and a section in the 303, and we can see 1) which one does the best job and 2) which one lasts the longest. This piece hasn't seen TLC in about three years, so it'll be a good test I think! And if there are any other products I missed, we can do that too.

Kat, I use Vinylex (rather than the 2001 - although I think I might have a bottle of it in my garage). you are more than welcome to use the Vinylex - I'd be pretty interested in the results.

note: nope, I have 2001's wheel cleaner. I can supply the Vinylex though.

thats a cool idea, kat. id like to see how all 3 measure up. (and usually, it takes 2 or 3 applications on the 2001 for optimum bling)
