Moving to SA, help? - Welcoming BBQ
Hello everyone! As I was just down there last month and got the chance to meet a few of you, we are officially arriving in SA on the 27th of June. I have some large items that I am going to need some help unloading from the rental truck. If I could get some extra hands to help me out, I would be extremely greatfull!!! I would need the assistance on the 28th starting somewhere around noon'ish. Whenever you could make it would be great! Please let me know if you have that Saturday available and would be interested in participating. I will provide lunch (pizza) and beverages (Beer).
We (the wife and I), are also wanting to have a welcoming BBQ envolving some of our Military friends that have already moved to Ft Sam and would also like to invite fellow Stang peeps as well. We would like to get to know some of you while talking over a few beers and drinks! We are looking to do that on or about the 12th of July. Suggestions on a date would be considered. Thanks, Brian and Family ![]()

Sounds good.. To all those that are interested in giving me a hand, my cell # is 253-691-6662. Give me a call when the time gets closer. Also, shoot me a PM with your number so I have a way to get ahold of you as well. We are moving into a place in Converse. Address is 6911 Pecan Falls. I just need to know how many plan to come lend a hand so I know how much pizza and beer to provide. I think three or four people would be plenty! But the more the merrier!! Thanks in advance....
Brian

Yep, Army... I am on instructor orders for Fort Sam right now. I guess for the first several months its going to be crappy hours, something like 0430-2000 every day - sometimes 7 days a week. So thats the crappy part. But it will be good for my career advancement. Only been in for 6 years been promoted to E-6 and will be looking at promotion for E-7 in 2010. Moving pretty fast for those of you that are familiar with military rank. Anyways, shoot me a PM with your phone # and I will contact you when the time gets closer, as a reminder. Thanks! - Brian

Well the time is approaching rapidly it seems... As we sit here in our lil house with boxs EVERYWHERE!!
Almost everything is packed. We decided not to pack the fish just yet as they may get a lil sour before I arrive in SA.. lol But other than the chaos of packing, getting everything lined up, moving vehicles, plane tickets, clearing the Army post (which really sucked!), we are ready to get down there. Well I have gotten a couple responses to my PM with #'s to call. If anyone else knows or thinks that they can make it out to the house next Saturday (28th) then if you would just send me your number as soon as you can cause I will not have the internet for the next week until I get set back up in SA. What is the beverage of choice for those of you interested? Beer is cheaper here in WA so I'm bringin some with me. With the cost of gas these days every dollar counts! Thanks in advance to those of you that are going to help me! It is greatly appreciated ![]() Brian Last edited by 89OctaneStang; 06-19-2008 at 12:50 PM. |
