My 06 GT Vert Progress PiCs

Been picking up some good deals so I wanted to start a little thread to track progress of my Vert. I have been slowly building this thing up over the past year and a half: Mods so far have been mostly all performance. As of this date I have had the following mods:

Vortech S-Trim Supercharger kit/ liquid intercooled=polished
Aluminum drive shaft
X-pipe with flows
3.73 FRRP gears
Eibach Pro-Kit
18" offset chrome bullits/BFG KDW's
Hurst short-shifter
Polished grill inserts
CDC Chin Spoiler

Mods waiting to install:
heat extractor hood
Rear bumper kit
Convertible Light Bar
Granetelli Dual strut tower brace
Chrome/billit radiator cover, Chrome radiator reservoir, caps, fuse box cover.
Custom GT Emblems
Chrome interior upgrades n stuff

I will take pics of each mod as they are added. Here is the pics of the only exterior mods so far in order...the chin spoiler and then the grill inserts. The smaller pic at the bottom was completely stock.

It has been about a week so far, but what a great week it has been. My new son was born on the 18th!!!!

So I put a lot of things on hold but I am finishing up some more now.

All mods so far have been installed by me with some help from the guys at Exotic Kustoms when I screw up something. My first one is the CDC Light Bar. Here is some progress pics of the install.

I had to take out the back seats and rear panels....

The sun is going down already. I started about 545pm

I liked the look of these GT emblems so they are now on my ride...

And I installed...well basically glued....this billet radiator cover from Steeda.

I decided to take my Stang to the Dragnet Car show this past weekend. I didn't really do much detailing so I was not expecting to win anything. There were some very clean and very nice Stangs in the 05+ Mustang category. So since then I decided to detail my Stang little by little: I Should have a long time ago.

And the last mod I performed is one that I should have done a long time ago. Strut Bar from Granetelli Dual Chrome. I recommend everyone get a strut bar from somewhere it really is a world of difference when turning.

Oh and notice I also installed the hood struts!!!! From CDC... Another got to have mod get this right away!

More pics when the mods happen

Installed some dress up stuff today. Caps, fuse box cover, and strut tower bolt covers all chrome of course. My theme is black and silver.
I really like how these cap covers clean up the trut towers. They also go well with the strut bar. My hood should be ready real soon.

Naa not really looking for them but if I get some...cool.

All I need now is to finally pick up my new hood and the Street Scene lower bumper insert. They are getting worked on now. Here is some pics of the hood during test fitting...

I didnt think it was gonna look good but once its on your car it looks really good. Another things about it that its different, and sets your car apart from the pack. Wish i could afford to do somethings to my car to make it car show worthy. I would love some trophies next to my car

Although subtle...the addition of silver windshield spray nozzle covers really set it off and blended it together well I think...

Thanks bro I really appreciate that. It is good that my patience is starting to pay off this car has had its fair share of problems. There is still little things here and there but slowly they will all come together.
Steve at Exotic Kustoms has really helped me get this car in line with what my imagination has shown me.

Pulled the supercharger head unit out myself the other day and took it over to Lethal Performance. The seal was replaced in it a couple months back ir was leaking oil again so they are going to redo the seal in it. I took pictures and video when removing the blower so I hope I can use that to help me remember how to put it back in properly!!!! Glad to see Lethal Performance has warrantied their work.

Just a little update. Last week I had some help getting the bugs worked out for the blower. It was easier than expected::: Come to find out...the blower pulley was installed backwards so that is why the pulley would not align right with the others: there was a 1/2" more shaft than there should have been. Ugghhh!
Anyways a new belt and aligned pulleys and she is back to her old self...and running strong.
Here is a running video...
