the final stages are set. Just replaced the original k member with a tubular from AJE racing. Took a few pix with my cell phone, crappy quality, but man this thing is sweet, tons of room to install my headers at a later time, not to mention, access to the entire bottom half is easily accessible.
These pix show all the dirt and grime on the under carriage, but not for long.











And now the engine is loaded and ready to go!

Cuz I am pressed for time the day I do the install. Wanted to knock out some extras while I can.

Also re-aligned it and my specs came in almost dead perfect this time around.

These last two pix are to show just how much room the tubular k member gives me, which will allow easier install of the long tubes later.

The engine is in and running, but with all the mods, it is having a hard time just staying at idle. Everything has been altered, so the PCM is freaking out. Larger injectors, more air flow, etc....

It needs a tune, but I gotta bet more miles on it. Just making sure everything is good before I push it over 3K rpm

The idle is too high to get a 'rough idle sound'.

I have it set about 1800RPM just to run, any lower and it just stalls.

when you build a motor from scratch like that, you need to put some more break in miles on it seing as the dyno tune will be rough on the motor, so he's gonna have to deal w/ shitty idle for a little while.. unless he puts a "preliminary tune" on it
