Ok, here is a crappy pic of the right bank with pistons in, I am missing a set of locks for the wrist pins, so I am at a stand still with that.




And here is the bottom end, look at that Cobra crank shine.....

I will be doing a forged bottom end for the L at the end of the summer. I am just nervous about building the bottom end myself. I have done many 302/306s but the mod motors just seem to be more picky with clearences. Especially me being I3()()$Ted.

Want me to build it? Mod motors are gravy. But with boost, there is always the possibility of failure.

Short block assembled.... :)

Got the whole short block assembled and ready for the next mods...

Realistically, about 300 with no power adder, may do NOS one day, 150 shot or so, nitrous loves high compression, so it should be a beast.

I may end up changing my mind on my build, I have done so at least 5 times since the inception of my build. First was just a stock rebuild, then was forged internals with a cast crank, then the steel crank came, then pistons sizes were options (high/low) compression.....bought CNC heads, then worked heads, then used heads.... I change my mind more then I change my drawers... lol

Hey man congrats on getting your engine done. Even though I saw it all late. Just remember that all that patience, and money spent pays off in the end when its done right. Even if you have too live off of top ramen soups for a while.

Actually, just the short block is done so far. But the funds have been provided by e-bay sales and other sales through other forums. Buy low, sell high !!!
