Just got this combo the other day and I installed it to see if it made a difference. The throttle is very crisp now (touchy) and responsive.
Dragon plenum with a 75mm throttle body (I had a 70mm I was gonna use but this came as a combo).

Inside the plenum is a split port design that let air flow over and under a plate. It is unique to Dragon only and also incorporates a plenum spacer (almost 1/2 inch higher then stock).
And yes, my junk is dirty, just got back from the beach, so no time to clean up, too tired and wore out.

Tuesday came and went............. 3 weeks ago, and FINALLY, my gears arrived on Monday the 17th. I was in such a hurry to run them over to the machine shop so they could out them in and finally degree my cams to specs, I forgot to take some pix. But once they install them, which by the way, I added some APR cam bolts as well as ditched the supplied lock bolts that came with the gears in favor of some hardened hex heads as well. Hopefully, the engine will be back in my possession this coming week. The Hardballer intake is next....

I just went to the machine shop, they are taking their SWEET ass time on getting the cams dialed in. Pissing me off, I know they are busy, but this is ridiculous.. 3 months it has been there and they have only balanced the flywheel, and took the timing chains off, that's it. Sometimes, I wish I had it elsewhere, but it is so convenient for me.. on the way to work and on the way home..

Picked up the engine today and snapped a few pix...

Here are the adjustable cam gears installed and degreed FINALLY!!
And the new ARP cam bolts, I am thinking of changing the cam sprocket adjuster bolts to a hex head before I put the engine in. Will make for easier loosening of the bolts versus that cheap looking allen bolt.

They are Patriot gears. I know all about the Fidanza junk for gears.

Trust me, I did my research. No shortcut has been made with this build. I am even up grading those sprocket bolts that allow the adjustment. I called the manufacturer and they assured me their set up works on 1000hp + cars, but I am still willing to make damn sure it will be to my satisfaction.

I've never had to have an engine rebuilt or built a engine. Either way I understand where your coming from as far as researching and being satisfied with quality parts. Your build looks great man, good luck with the car.

Thanks... hopefully by the end of the month or mid November. I will also be ordering a new intake Monday and hopefully it won't take so long to ship out.
I'll take my injectors and get them flow matched and re-paint my timing cover along with the valve covers in the mean time.

Ordered my Hardballer intake today from THS.. went direct this time..

I should see the intake by the end of the week hopefully. In the meantime, I am doing a little tweaking here and there. Hopefully, if all goes well and shop time permits it, by the end of the October. If not, November is looking like the actual date.
