My New Coupe!

Well some of yous guys have already been introduced to the Coupe by now, but I am already getting ready to start dropping some coin on her so I figured Id start a money pit thread! This is what I'm working with as of now:

mods: 302 bored 20 over stock bottom end with DSS Main Girdle, JE Sportsman dish top 8.5 to 1 compression Pistons with Gapless rings . Winsor SR. 202 int and 160 exh. heads,have been cleaned out at the bowls, Harland Sharp 1.6 ratio roller rockers, Hardened pushrods, FMS Hydraulic Roller lifters. Double Roller timing chain with Stainless Steel Gears. It has a Bullit Racing cam specific for my Supercharger set up, Romac Steel Harmonic Balancer, Saleen/Vortech intake 70mm t/b 42lb injectors, 80mm Pro m mass air meter with filter. Ford motorsport valve covers. Engine is newly overhauled. 12 rib Procharger D1sc 14lbs boost 3 core intercooled. Spec stage 3 clutch kit SFI bell housing, Tremec 5 speed, Pro 5.0 shifter. Aluminum Driveshaft, 4.11 FMS Gears. 28 Spline Moser Axles. 5 lug conversion with Rear Disc Brakes and proportioning valve. Welded Subframe Connectors, Upper and Lower control arms Eibach Racing Springs with front and back Lakewood drag struts (90/10) and shocks (50/50) with rear spring Airbag. Has a six point roll cage. Autometer Boost, Temp, Oil, and Fuel pressure Gauges. Autometer Monster Tach. silver faced.
1 3/4 Mac long tubes, 2 1/2 Dr. Gas X, Spintech mufflers and 3 in. chrome tips. MSD 6al and Blaster Coil. JMS 3 stage Chip. It is sitting on some Weld Prostars with Mickey thompson 26 x 7.5 skinnys and Mickey Thompson 27560r15 ET Streets, they all have about 95% tread left on them. The car is Blue and has a 2 1/2in. Cowl Hood.

She's got a dr's appt. Wed for a check up and a Dyno tune, so I'll be able to post some #'s later in the week.

Well it's no Bullitt, but I like it! lol It should be tuned this morning. I'm going out of town, this afternoon, but hopefully she'll be done before I go. I'll try to update#'s before I go. I'm thinking of swapping to some Black DD bullit wheels, Nobody has those... Maybe I'll start a trend... j/k Graves!

I'm still waiting on the numbers myself. We ran into a slight issue with my timing, so I had to order a new balancer. I was told that the 12 rib set-up is a mofo on balancers, so it got a little messed up, but it should be done early this week! I'm just ready to get this thing back, I'll more than likely be at the meets this weekend in it!

Just got the coupe back after a week at the tuners, a little "tune" ended up whooping my wallet's ass!! Oh well I'm just glad I took it in so that I now can do what I do and be confident I'm not gonna tear my shit up! To make a long story short She threw down

MAX POWER 484.23@5,700rpm.
MAX TORQUE 458.99@5,100rpm.

WooT I sho do feel like a winner! I was told that I can expect over 500 with new injectors and a MAFia, but I'll probably hold off on that because this thing is just the way it is! I'll hold out until I can do a 331 Stroker and up the boost!!! but for now I LOVE this car!

Did Dean tune it? Also was it running out of injector? Post up the dyno sheet if you got it.

yeah Dean tuned it. He said that it was maxing out the Mass Air, but it might have been a combination of the mass air and injectors that caused it. I have the sheet, but no way to post it.

Well, Yes and no. I am still running the stock bottom end(just freshened up) crappy ole F cam. Smaller valve heads,less boost with an S trim. You have different blower,intake,heads,headers,cam etc.

I'd love to see your car in person.It sure looks good in pics.

Lucas 42lbers. Pro M Bullitt 75 mass air. I still had plenty of fuel. 255 lph in tank.Stock lines and rails.

I'm running 42's also, but Dean had to shut it down at about 5,600 RPM because of my meter and injectors. What RPM does yours limit at?

Dunno. It was still pulling. My rev limiter is set at 6,200. I think I would have seen 500 if we would have made a pull to 6k

WOOT! I ran a best time of 12.11 against a Z06 tonight! Trapped at 114.24! I know I should get more out of the car, but I'm just getting the hang of it. It's so easy to roast the tires through the first two gears, but I'm getting the hang of it! The hardest part of the run was trying to turn off of the track without breaking my boner in the steering wheel! I had a blast and I'll try to post some timeslips soon. I had some crappy 60 ft times, but R code caught that magic Ass-whoopin on vid so hopefully he'll post it soon!

yeah with 18 psi. Shoulda let some out, but I just wanted to get a few runs in and get used to being at the track again.

shitty for sure. My 12.11 run was a 1.97, but I was getting used to the car and wearing a helmet and all that. I really didn't wanna leave without a 11 sec pass, but there will be another day!
