Hey everyone, I have been working on something pretty big lately. I have finally pulled the trigger on opening my own performance shop. It has been a long time coming, I have talked for years about this but I am finally ready. I have gone into business with another partner, long time friend Ben whom has 10+ years in the performance industry as a tech at several different places.
My shop is called Auto Adrenaline Performance. It will be located in Stafford/Sugarland area, address:
13003 Murphy Rd. STE N-1
Stafford, TX 77477
Auto Adrenaline will be a full service shop with plans of a dyno in the very near future. We plan on focusing on the American V8 sports car / muscle car market, including but not limited to Ford, GM and late model Dodge Hemi's.
The facility is 3000 sqft. with 2 overhead doors. I just wanted to share with you guys some of pics of the "build" hehe. I want it to be nice and clean because some of my detailing customers already know I am anal when it comes to cleanliness so I am taking my time on getting it set up. When I am up and running I will be a forum sponsor as well.
I will continue to detail for customers but my main focus is on tuning and building the fastest street cars, which has been a dream of mine and I wish to bring that dream into my customers' garages.
I have a long list of vendors that I am dealers with already, which I will post in great detail on my website when it is complete. But as far as tuning software goes I am a certified tuner/dealer for SCT for Ford/GM, and I also have HP Tuners for GM only, and Diablosport Predator for Dodge.
I just wanted to give you guys a heads up on what's going on, and expect a grand opening BBQ on a Saturday within the next few weeks! For now, enjoy some of the pictures, they are not much but we are almost there!
Here is what the shop looked like before we moved in. It was pretty dirty, typical mechanic basic repair shop which is not the image I wanted to portray.
So we got to work. Started with a degrease of the floor. Actually we degreased it about 4 times.. it was filthy. Then followed up with an acid wash. Finally we laid industrial grade epoxy to give it a more clean look, feel, and of course, will make future fluid messes a breeze to wipe up.
Here is our engine room:
Shop view of the office:
I did not like how secluded the office was to the shop. So the next step was to cut out a piece of the wall and install a window so you can see the shop when you walk in, also check on your progress in the luxury of super cold A/C.
My lifts just arrived yesterday. I will have a total of 3 bays and a dyno.
It is still a work in progress. We finished painting the interior of the office, now it is time to lay the tile. I am going to have a waiting room with an XBOX 360, PS3, cable TV and a ton of DVDs with a couch and a love seat. I do plan on opening in the next week or so, so expect to see a grand opening day and of course everyone is invited!
