jus thought i'd let ya'll know i stopped ny Northside ford this morning and talked to mike in parts...thye are having an all ford car show july 16th and he showed me the flyer they have in the saturday paper.....the SVT club outta austin is sponsoring it...the flyer said contact idean@austin.rr.com or ph 512-417-5563 Leon so if anyone's intrested give him a call or e-mail him.....Len

How will the judging in this show be done?

Same as the SVT show, your fellow entrants will pick the winners out of the cars that come. We are having everyone put their entry number at the top this time just so we make sure we get them all back in and check them off the list. We expect a few more cars for this show. The Dealers choice award is just that the Parts Mgr and some of their staff will have their own pick.

Okay so someone didn't call anyone from here to get LSS involved in the show at Northside Ford.

The phone works both ways, I havn't heard of anyone beating down AustinSVTs door trying to get involved in some way.

Why all the negativity when events are announced that LSS didn't plan. (CC Beach Trip comes to mind.) Its about having fun with our cars anyway right?????

I just dont like NS ford....they were d icks when we were looking to buy a cobra. I wouldnt go to this event if LSS was involved in it.

It's about not following up on your word for this particular event. Maybe you are ok with it, but you don't know the whole story. It's like offering someone something and then giving it to someone else.....not cool!!!

I did not say don't go to everyone else....just stated I AM NOT GOING and why.....sorry if I offended you with MY opinion.

FYI I don't believe this is about Austin SVT....it's about Northside Ford. Maybe that will help you understand.

And as far as the CC thing goes, we have an event planned here(LSS) that has been worked on for a few months. Planning another similar event, within a few weeks of our previously scheduled event, but complaining about not having enough money to drive to our event because of a lack of time to save, and expecting us to save for another event that would be in just a few weeks is crappy too.

It's not about our club not wanting to participate in other clubs' events, these are two totally different situations with legit reasons for each being equally shitty.

Did I not say, NORTHSIDE WAS SUPPOSED TO HAVE AN EVENT WITH LSS. THEY OBVIOUSLY CHOSE TO HAVE IT WITH AUSTIN SVT INSTEAD. PLAIN AND SIMPLE. NO MORE, NO LESS.

And is it not complaining.....it's the truth!!

So to clarify for those who cannot read big print either, this is not about Austin SVT, it is about Northside Ford and their inability to follow through on arrangements.
