They have auto X here i town at least once a month. I can't remember where they have it though. I know it's been at the Dome and out at SAR but I think they might have moved it again.

www.sasportscar.com this for SASCA which is autocross, I think the next event is beginning of Sept. at Verizon Amphitheater, there's a schedule on the page...

for TWS, you can attend these schools:

www.driversedge.net
www.nasatx.com
and the track hosts events as well...

NASA is done with TWS for this year...PM me if you want more options...

yeah, rlogan covered it pretty well- though the next autox is sept. 4 at verizon wireless amphitheater. and like he said, its all covered on the websites posted above.

also: both at Texas World Speedway (TWS in college station)- DE: drivers ed, from beginner to practice time for advanced drivers. porsche group ive heard is pretty open about other cars joining them, but check their website just in case.

September 24-25 SPORTS CARS. Lone Star Region Porsche Club Driver Education. Friday night drop-off starting 6:30 pm. For info http://www.lsrpca.com/

September 3- 4 Texas Road Racing Championship Race.
This has advanced DE time between races also. This last weekend there were only 3 cars at a time advance DE.. Plenty of room & time to drive.

Motorsports Ranch (MSR) and Texas Motor Speedway (TMS) are both in the Ft. Worth area, but i dont have info on them at the moment. PM me if you have questions.

i took my 01 GT to TWS and use it in autox all the time- the road track is better suited for the stang's power (i keep it in 4th and keep up with modded BMW's, miatas, and even lost a porsche thru the twisties), but the small size and how technical autox is really suits smaller cars bettter, like my eclipse. although there are some big cars out there- getting quite a few stangs, and ive seen altimas, impala SS's, even a dakota R/T and tacoma prerunner.

dont expect to "open up" your car at an autox, its mostly turning. and your in a parking lot so there's only so much speed you can pick up.

not saying it isn't fun, just that if you want to "open it up" take it to a deserted highway :jmg680:

Motorsport Ranch Houston is also opening this Fall (my bet is spring, but they say fall). It will be nice when it does...much better than driving to MSR in Ft. Worth.

http://www.msrhouston.com/

Here's a good site to check out if you are into road racing or autocross (a lot of mustang owners here):
http://www.corner-carvers.com/

Here's the TWS site:
http://texasworldspeedway.com/

I haven't done TMS, I heard it sucks.....there are a lot of classes going on there though????
