MustangGTBecker,

i'm not sure if you know brian (98blackwidow) personally, either way we (the other members here) don't really care to see you bash other members. if you know him, which it seems like you do, how about you just give him a call and bash his car over the phone. you're rude comments on here will not be missed.

kthnx

U must be talking about a V6 and not a GT, 300rwhp is not that had to get to.

No...I'm talking about a 99+GT. GT's dyno 225-230 stock. A CAI, chip and exhaust are NOT going to give you 70rwhp. If he has an intake, cams, and headers, maybe.

Post up the graphs Becker...we're waiting.
btw... the warranty/extended warranty is BS too. You have a chip and no cats therefore your engine warranty is worthless.

Not if you keep all the orginal stuff and when you take it in, put the old parts back on. I had a buddy do this for a long time and never got busted

You obviously dont know Ford as well as I do. By the way I am a Ford A plan life member, and i do know alot about Ford warranties. The cats only void the waranty of the stock exhaust not at all the rest of the car.But my stock exhaust which I dont even have nor do I want any more does not have a warranty. The chip would only initually void the computers warranty, which you would think would void the whole engines warranty, but it dosent. Only if the engine has a problem that can be legally linked back to the chip would it void the warranty. Also the ESP is from Ford but under a seperate conpany which I cannot recall what they call it, But it does permit in there for upgrades without voiding the warranty as long as certain guidelines are met. and if anything did happen to the engine the smart owner would remove the chip prior to taking the vehicle in for waranty work. I saw post realating to shit talking and it being frounded upon, inst this what you are doing sir?? If you wish to talk more about this I will be at he forum with my 2004 tonight, 6:30

You are so right. I obviously know nothing about Fords.
By changing the stock midpipe you voided the entire emissions system on the car. Yes, that can easily be swapped back to stock...no problem there. Just don't take it in without cats.

The chipped computer is another story.
To install the chip you had to remove the coating and scrape the contacts. Have fun putting that back to stock. Forget about swapping in another computer...you'll most likely have to take it to a Ford dealer to get PATS reprogrammed.
and btw...the chip can void the entire engine warranty since it controls the fuel system, timing etc.

Ford has to prove my mod caused this, blah, blah, blah.
Ok fine...you fight Ford in court. I'm sure you can afford as many lawyers as they can. You're car should be paid off and damn near a classic by the time it's all settled.
I know at least 2 dozen people that have had their engine warranty denied and their car flagged because of chipped computers in the last year alone.

I'm not starting shit. You come on here touting a 300+rwhp, nearly stock, warrantied, immaculate GT. Where's the proof?

As for discussing it...no thanks. I'll be at home washing my 400rwhp flux-capacitor powered GT.

Unless you want to race that is...if so, meet me at the track on Wednesday.

I think Tracy knows what she is talking about because she has been down this road before.Trust me if it has a chip and you end up with engine damage your warranty will be denied.
