Need Help

I have a 96 stock Gt. I finally have a little money to play with. I already bought a (used)bassani x-pipe, 2 1/2 catback with 3 " inch tips with hi- flow mufflers. I really need to start on my suspension, but I have no clue where to start. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Thanks

I would say start with springs and struts/shock but once your car is lower, you will need caster/chamber plates. How about sub frame connectors or upper & lower control arms.

What brand is recommended for the parts?

Thanks

I heard Mega bite jr. Control arms and Southside are good.So are the Steeda Adjustable Billet Aluminum Lower Control Arms w/ spherical bearing & 3-piece bushing, they are bit pricely.

Or if you want to go cheap, Mac has upper & lower for $249. As for sub-frame connectors, Kenny brown or maximum motorsports have some nice ones. Her are some links:

Here's some good articles on suspension, most of it is for early foxes but it's the same principle.

Not to flame... but what do you need suspension for?

if you want to lower it, get some springs and caster camber plates.

but you definitely need geras. I would suggest 4.10s for your car.
