Need help

Hey guys
Last week I got a ticket while going back to school in College Station from home. I got it in North Houston on 290 headed north. I was trying to get back to school in time to make a review for my final in Economics. Anyway, the ticket was for 79 in a 65, even though everyone around me was doing at least 80 right along with me.
Does anyone know any good lawyers that I can drop like 100-200 bucks and get this thing dropped? I really can't have this on my record. I normally don't speed that bad, but I couldn't miss that review.

Yeah when i get home i'll get you the info for my lawyer. His names Paul Kubosh, hes really good. I got caught doing like 100-110 i a 35 and i got off with just some fines and a defered and a defensive driving course. You ticket isnt nearl as bad, im sure he could get it dismissed. Hes also one of the lawyers trying to get the safetow program do dissapear.

The info will be very much appreciated! Since I wrecked my L a month ago (not my fault in reality, but found my fault by technicality), I can't get any tickets for a loooong time. I normally don't speed more than 5 over anyway ....

Scott Markowitz usually handles ticket cases in that area. His number is 713-521-7568. Who issued the ticket to you? Was it Jersey Village, county sheriff or DPS.

The guy is good, I was pulled over for going 10 or 15 over the limit as well as expired registration. He was able to have it dismissed and it will not appear on the record.

Go to the court and ask about probation. Basically, you pay the court fee and then you are on probation for like 3-6 months I think. As long as you do not get a ticket in THAT county/city, then the ticket gets dropped off your record and your insurance never finds out about it. My hubby is on it now and my brother has had several in different cities all at the same time. hehe! Look into it. Either that or you take defensive driving and that drops it as well. Good luck!

Yea, I dont wanna take any chances and have the judge not allow me to be on defferred. I'd rather just pay a couple hundred bucks to a lawyer and not worry about it. I'm already taking defensive driving for my wreck. :thumbdown
