Need help (Houston People)

I recently found out that a good friend of my wife I passed away. We are trying to find info on her death of how she died. I was wondering if you guys heard or saw anything on the news. Her name was Jackie Ramirez Cantu. She live in Katy, TX.

JACKIE RAMIREZ CANTU, loving mother and devoted wife, passed away to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 24, 2008 in Katy, TX. She was born on December 13, 1970 in Robstown, TX to Willie and Irma Ramirez. She graduated from Texas A&M University in 1993 with a Bachelors of Science in Microbiology. Jackie was loved by everyone who was fortunate to have known her. She dedicated her life to her two beautiful children and devoted husband. She will be so greatly missed by those whose lives she touched. She is survived by her loving husband of 15 years, Mike; her two children, Sierra (9) and Michael (7); her parents, Willie and Irma Ramirez; her brother, Ben; grandparents, Manuel and Dora Rios; and many other loving relatives and friends. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home, 12800 Westheimer, where a Rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. in the chapel. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 1, 2008 in the chapel of Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Katy Magnolia Cemetery.

You'd probably need to call the family to ask that ...

I'm not sure they'd be much in the newspaper unless it was something over-the-top (entertaining enough to make the nightly news) ...

Yeah, but you really don't want to ask a family member at this time. But from what I have gotten so far it was from a gunshot. But still I am not for certain.
