Need to use it on a 2001 4.6 SOHC motor.
EDIT: Also, if anyone has a writeup to a timing cover removal/install let me know. It looks pretty straight forward but Im just curious about any potential issues.

Recently reinstalled the clutch on my 2000GT and I learned you don't need one. Put three or so bolts hand-tight on the pressure plate. With one hand have a wrench and socket on one bolt and move the clutch disk into alignment with the other. If the car is off the ground enough, you can sit under it and see the alignment easily. Hold it into position with one hand and tighten one bolt with the other. This will hold it into position while you torque the rest down. The tranny should slide right in.
I'll post a write-up on the timing cover when I get back in town tomorrow if you haven't got a response by then by someone else.
Replaced the timing cover last night and put the clutch on today. Im in need of a few other things now, this Mustang is turning into a nightmare.
Replaced the motor twice and both were bad. This is the third motor, we got it from a different place though. They guaranteed us it works - got it cheap because the timing cover was cracked. Its got a six month warranty so we will see.
Wow. I would be PO'd. Hope this one works for you. How many miles are on it?
50k miles on this motor. Everything seems to be good so far but both valve covers were decently cracked so Im going to replace them before putting oil in it and starting it up.
